Blind Spot Assist

Helps with lane changes and reversing.

Blind Spot Assist with Rear Cross Traffic Alert can use visual and acoustic warning signals to help avoid accidents when changing lane and reversing. If Blind Spot Assist detects a vehicle in the blind spot, it displays a warning with a red triangle in the corresponding outside mirror.

The system uses proximity sensors to monitor the environment throughout an area of approximately 3 metres to the side and rear of the vehicle. Blind Spot Assist starts monitoring at a vehicle speed of around 30 km/h.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert can warn in the case of crossing traffic when reversing. It is active up to a maximum speed of 10 km/h.
