Monitors the tyre pressure.
The tyre pressure loss warning system in your vehicle can help increase driving safety and reduce tyre wear and fuel consumption. At the start of a journey, the sensors in the tyre valves of the four wheels measure the tyre pressure. These data are sent to the control unit via a radio signal and analysed. The system gives a visual warning if there is a relevant drop in pressure or there are deviations in pressure: the warning lamp in the instrument cluster then indicates a fault. In the event of a sudden and extreme loss of tyre pressure, the system also outputs a clearly audible warning tone.
