Active Brake Assist

Can reduce the risk of an accident.

Active Brake Assist can, for example, help you prevent accidents with vehicles in front and with crossing vehicles or pedestrians, or to minimise the consequences of such accidents. This increases both your safety and that of other road users. Active Brake Assist is a radar and camera-based safety system. It warns you both visually and audibly if you approach a vehicle in front or a stationary object at a speed which means an accident is probable. As soon as you start braking, the system can automatically initiate appropriate braking in order to avoid a collision or to reduce its severity.
