The Citan: an urban hero.
Long maintenance intervals of up to 30,000 km.
For example, Mercedes-Benz MobiloVan, the life-long mobility guarantee from Mercedes-Benz. For a maximum of 30 years if regularly serviced by an authorised Mercedes-Benz service partner. Valid for vehicles with initial registration on or after 01.10.2012.
The Citan combines pleasure with utility: its friendly interior impresses with functionality and comfort – from the high seat position for the driver to the low door and loading sills, which make for easy loading. The control elements are clearly arranged and the instrument cluster is easy to read. The comfortable driver's seat and the height-adjustable steering wheel can be adjusted manually for an optimum seat position. And the practical stowage facilities as well as the heating and ventilation systems also contribute to the overall pleasant working climate.
The strengths of the Citan will get you ahead in any job: you'll benefit from its manoeuvrability in city traffic and from its pulling power when travelling cross-country or on the motorway. All the technical components are precisely attuned to each other – from the high torque engines, 6-speed manual transmission and suspension with independent wheel suspension to the disk brakes. That means that you can always relax and enjoy the responsiveness of the Citan. And thanks to consumption-reducing measures and exhaust gas aftertreatment with SCR technology you can travel efficiently with reduced emissions.
Sustainable and efficient driving – the Citan implements this requirement in exemplary fashion. With efficient engines characterised by low consumption and emissions – and with maintenance intervals of up to 30,000 km which contribute towards low operating costs. The fuel-saving measures which in turn reduce emissions are standard and contribute towards a high degree of efficiency. The Citan's attractive price and the lifetime mobility guarantee1,2 are further benefits which will pay off both in the short-term and in the long-term.
The Citan masters everyday tasks with impressive flexibility. The Citan may not be able to take your work off you, but – depending on the sector – it can make it a lot easier to do. You will not be able to live without its intelligent load compartment concept and the low load sills. That's because easy loading and unloading are as much its strengths as the flexible utilisation of its high transport capacity is: up to 2 sliding doors and double-wing rear doors with an opening angle of as much as 180° provide superb access.
The Citan Panel Van will make a lot possible for you: a specialist in the sector, it's distinguished by its flexible applicability. You have the choice between the two body variants long and extra-long. The load compartment length in the extra-long variant measures 2137 mm. With a load compartment height of 1258 mm, the Citan Panel Van offers a load capacity of up to 3.8 m3. The large selection of optional equipment allows you to tune the Citan perfectly to your requirements.
Also with regard to safety, the Citan impresses in every way. From the brake system which permits short braking distances even in wet conditions and the disengageable acceleration skid control system ASR to ADAPTIVE ESP® and height-adjustable three-point seat belts with seat belt tensioner and seat belt force limiter. The driver's airbag, daytime running lights and Hill-Start Assist also provide for a high level of safety. Furthermore, a co-driver's airbag and thoraxbags3 are available as optional equipment, for example. Systems such as the light and rain sensor, the tyre pressure loss detection system and a reversing camera can further increase safety.
For a maximum of 30 years if regularly serviced by an authorised Mercedes-Benz service partner.
Valid for vehicles with initial registration on or after 01.10.2012.
For co-driver only available in combination with thoraxbags for driver and co-driver.
Sturdy and variable basis.
The mobile marvel of space for urban travel.
Spacious Panel Van in 2 body lengths.
The Citan Panel Van impresses in both body lengths with loads of cargo space and great flexibility. The cab can accommodate up to 3 people, depending on the variant.
The key advantages of the Panel Van:
- A wealth of variants with the 2 body lengths long and extra-long for different load compartment requirements
- Load compartment for a longitudinally positioned Europallet1 or 2 Europallets positioned laterally
- Space for up to 3 persons in the cab with the optional 2-seater co-driver bench seat
- A high degree of flexibility when loading – even bulky cargo – thanks to many optional equipment items such as the folding co-driver's seat
In conjunction with the optional luxury interior panelling, the width between the wheel arches is no longer sufficient for a Euro pallet.
Can take a lot. And dole it out too.
When you have a load compartment that can hold this much, it's important to ensure that the materials and tools are properly stowed on board. That's why we installed a partition behind the driver and co-driver's seats in the Citan Panel Van. It protects the driver's area from the cargo and also keeps dust and noise at bay. To make sure that everything stays safely in place in the load compartment, the cargo can be expertly secured using tension straps and the standard-fit tie-down eyes – including in the side wall as an option. Ensuring that easily damaged items arrive in one piece.
Unmistakably a Mercedes-Benz van.
Brand-typical exterior design.
With its design typical of Mercedes-Benz vans and high value appeal, the Citan impeccably carries the positive image of the other Van model series into the small van segment. The unique design can be showcased with various non-metallic paint finishes as well as optional metallic paint finishes – and further customised with a range of optionally available exterior packages.

These are the "measured NEDC CO2 values" according to Article 2, No. 2 of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1152. Fuel consumption values have been calculated on this basis. As a result of statutory changes to crucial test methods, higher figures may have been entered in the vehicle's certificate of conformity, a document relevant to vehicle registration and vehicle tax. The figures do not apply to a specific vehicle and do not form part of the product offer; they are provided solely for the purpose of comparing different vehicle models.
