After eleven years and around 1.3 million units the time has come: the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Europe's market leader in the van class of GVW up to 3.5 tonnes, will have a successor.
For the market launch in March 2006 customers can expect a variety which has previously been unavailable: new versions include a fourth body length and super-high roof, which increases the maximum cargo volume to up to 17 m³. The number of variants alone almost sets a new record. With a through-loading width of 1300 mm for the large sliding door and a through-loading dimension of up to 1350 mm between the wheelhouses for individual tyres the new Sprinter is topping its previous figures.
Further highlights are the clean and economical high-tech diesel engines and the innovative suspension with ADAPTIVE ESP®.
