Since June 2012 all new vehicles come standard-equipped with the pre-installed Service app. If you are due for a service appointment, the dialogue screen of the Service app will appear on the radio display in addition to the customary message in the instrument cluster. As soon as you consent to the call, a telephone connection to the customer centre is established. All you need to do is to agree to the data transfer (VIN number, odometer reading and workshop code) by pushing a button.
The customer centre will then forward your vehicle information and your desired service date to the Mercedes-Benz service outlet. Within 24 hours the workshop will calculate the duration and costs of the service visit and will inform you when you can pick up your vehicle. If your desired appointment is not available, an appropriate alternative appointment will be coordinated.

Prerequisite for Mercedes-Benz Contact is the Audio 20 or higher, as well as a Bluetooth-capable mobile phone. You only pay the fees for connecting to the respective landline. Roaming charges may apply for calls from abroad. The Mercedes-Benz services are provided free of charge.
