And it's entirely up to you to decide what sort of personal style your E-Guard should have: from the Exclusive package and designo range through to the AVANTGARDE or ELEGANCE equipment lines – the choice is yours.
  
  Impressive engine line-up: the agile drive system comprises two engine variants, each available in right or left-hand-drive vehicles: the powerful E 500 BlueEFFICIENCY and the particularly economical V6 diesel variant, the E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with innovative engine management for ultimate environmental compatibility. All the assistance systems of an E-Class are available and fully operational, the armour-plating notwithstanding.
  
  High-tech features: the side windows on the driver's and front-passenger sides can be fully opened electrically, and powerful electric windows are also available for the rear compartment passengers. An intercom system for communication with the outside, and a panic button which in case of danger makes the headlamps flash and an acoustic alarm sound, are optionally available.
  
  Meeting the highest standards: the E-Guard not only passes all of the safety and quality tests which are carried out on a Mercedes-Benz. The specially protected E-Class also complies with all of the requirements of protection class VR4.
  
  Optimum protection: the standard MOE run-flat tyres as well as the all-round high-strength, shatter-resistant glass which ensures the highest visual quality, set the E-Guard apart. As do the electronic control system which is designed specifically for the additional weight, the brakes and the specially reinforced suspension components.
