Innovative, attractive and environmentally friendly.

4-cylinder diesel engines.

The diesel engines in the C-Class Coupé feature a host of technical innovations. The result: their power output is up to 20 percent higher than comparable older engines.

That means the C 220 CDI produces 125 kW of power and the C 250 CDI as well as the C 250 CDI Sport both produce 150 kW. At the same time the torque of both engines has increased by up to 25 percent, while fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have dropped by up to 23 per cent. Both models also have the ECO start/stop function and meet Euro 5 emission standards.

The following models are available to choose from: C 220 CDI, C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Edition, C 250 CDI and C 250 CDI Sport.

  • Efficient use of energy: the injection pressure of up to 2000 bar and modern injectors meter the required fuel quantity extremely precisely – a sound basis for efficient of energy strictly according to needs.
  • Optimised combustion chamber design: creating ideal conditions for maximising clean combustion and energy efficiency.
  • Relieving stress and boosting energy: The optimised alternator management relieves stress on the engine and the turbocharging provides more efficiency.
  • Maximum efficiency: the C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Edition special model lowers CO2 emissions to 109 grams per kilometre on average.
