Our ideal camper van drive system is powerful, smooth-running and economical. And, of course, it displays a Mercedes star. After all, longevity, reliability and ease of maintenance are characteristics that you expect when it comes to a long-term investment such as a camper van.

A number of assemblies are available for chassis models with standard and low frames.

Diesel engines
Petrol engines
Natural-gas and LPG engines

[1] A diesel particulate filter is standard equipment for all CDI diesel engines.

[2] Expected to be available from the 1st quarter of 2012. Until this date, the 5-speed automatic transmission will be delivered.

[3] Not in conjunction with petrol engine

[4] The efficiency package with automatic transmission and 4x2 drive will only become available when the new 7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic transmission is deployed (expected to be available from 1st quarter of 2012).

[5] Shift point display, battery management and internal engine measures are included as standard. All other components are optional extras.

[6] Not in conjunction with low-frame chassis
