Body manufacturers can meet a broad selection of body and implementation requirements with a choice of four application-specific suspension configurations using a standard frame chassis. Four levels of stabilisation are available, based on defined combinations of suspension components, such as stabilisers, shock absorbers and strengthened springs.
One key characteristic remains unchanged – cutting-edge suspension technology.
A sophisticated independent suspension is responsible for precision front wheel control. A firm suspension configuration featuring stabilisers and a fibreglass-reinforced transverse leaf spring on the front axle boost road-holding by suppressing roll movement when cornering or driving in heavy side winds.
Shock absorbers and parabolic springs designed specifically for camper vans deliver outstanding suspension response and precise wheel control to the rear axle. The springs (single or multi-stage depending on GVW) ensure a comfortable ride and safe handling, regardless of the load you’re carrying.
This also applies of course to the optional air suspension available for the rear axle.
All models feature smooth-operating rack-and-pinion power steering to make easy work of manoeuvring your camper van. You will also appreciate its impressively small turning circle (12.3 m for short wheelbase, 13.6 m for medium wheelbase and 15.6 m for long wheelbase).
