The Tourismo is both totally proven and totally state-of-the-art: with its 2042 units sold in the previous year it achieved a new all-time record.
In this 2015 record year, Turkey was the country in first place for sales, ahead of Germany, France, Great Britain and Italy. These five countries alone accounted for the impressive number of 1425 Tourismo units sold. The countries which took delivery of a Tourismo last year also included Réunion, the island in the Indian Ocean, New Caledonia near the north-east coast of Australia, Iceland and the Sultanate of Oman on the eastern side of the Arabian peninsula. Tourismos have also recently been delivered to Nigeria and to Chad. The numbers of units involved in each case may be modest, but the exports demonstrate how successful the Tourismo is proving to be, in all sorts of extreme climactic conditions and deployments.
This also applies to all variants in the extended Tourismo family. The current top of the internal pops is the twin-axle high-decker Tourismo just under twelve metres long, followed by the 13 m long version of the Tourismo M with three axles. In third place is the twin-axle Tourismo M/2, also 13 m long, ahead of the 14 m long flagship Tourismo L.
