The "Museum Winter" will be taking residence in the Mercedes-Benz Museum during the cold winter months. Visitors can enjoy a varied program of events for the whole family. A key highlight is the birthday of a Mercedes-Benz icon: The SL celebrates its 60th year in 2012 and is being honoured with a special exhibition. Mercedes-Benz Museum wishes you a great start to this anniversary year.

"Learn to cook with the professionals" – this is the slogan for the cookery courses organised for the first time by the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Four ’master class’ courses have been scheduled for amateur chefs in the new year. Each course begins at 6.00 pm: "Cooking For Your Partner" on 12 January, "Friends For Dinner" on 20 January, "Light Mediterranean Cuisine" on 27 January, and "Fresh Seasonal Cuisine" on 10 February.

Why not treat yourself to the superb cuisine of an award-winning chef served in an exclusive atmosphere? The Mercedes-Benz "Night of the Stars" has just what you’re looking for. Held over twelve evenings from 28 February to 11 March 2012, the Casino on the top floor of the Mercedes-Benz Museum will be transformed into an exclusive gourmet restaurant.

A special technology event is being staged for young museum visitors in the GeniusCampus from 10 to 29 January 2012.
With the help of numerous specialists, children aged four to ten will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities at different visitor stations.

Highlighting six decades of innovation, sportiness and aesthetic appeal, the extensive special exhibition "Timeless Design. 60 Years of the Mercedes-Benz SL" showcases the fascinating design of the Mercedes-Benz SL. The exhibition will be staged in Collection Room 5 from 24 January to 2 September 2012.
