In the category "Urban Regular-Service Buses" the Mercedes-Benz Citaro climbs the winner's podium. With more than 35 000 units produced in about 14 years, the Citaro is the most successful urban bus ever built. In early May it was the first Euro VI urban bus in Europe to roll off the assembly lines. The early introduction of Euro VI gives transit authorities the opportunity to quickly propagate environmental protection widely with economically affordable investments.
The Mercedes-Benz Tourino offers the operator a multitude of available equipment features that make a wide variety of uses possible – customers can use it for everything from intercity operations to VIP shuttle services.
